The Stylus SX600FW is Epson's new range of high quality inkjet. The SX 600FW is one of Epson’s stylish new products which provide all full 4-in-one with fax and photo printing as well as its core print, scan and copy functions. The SX600FW can also connect to a wireless network or use printer sharing to share the device over an existing home network.
The stylish SX600FW has a control panel which includes a good size, 63mm, colour LCD display, which can show photo images from a memory card or menu and status messages.
The control panel gives the user an ease and control over all the functions of the printer.
The SX600FW printer is a multitalented appliance predominantly suited to produce complex colour documents such as photographs. The output and the quality of its photo printing is simply extravagant and can print lifelike photos effortlessly every time. The SX600FW can print 38 ppm and 20 ppm for black and colour print, and 10 x 15cm photos in approximately 20 seconds.
The SX600FW contains Epson’s DURABrite Ultra pigment ink system that ensures quality printing of
photos and text that are water, smudge and fade resistant. The SX205 includes Epson’s Photo Print software enables you to perform functions like cropping and red-eye reduction with a touch of a button. You can choose borderless or full-page prints as well as adding borders and effects, making the image sepia or optimising specific areas.
The SX600FW uses 4 separate ink cartridges (Cyan, magenta, yellow and black).These 4 individual ink tanks provide the flexibility and affordability of changing/replacing only the cartridge that has run out.
The SX600FW all-in-one allows you to produce high-quality colour and black-and-white copies on plain or photo paper. You can enlarge or reduce the size of an original to fit a specific paper size, adjust the copy quality, and make high-quality copies of photos, including borderless copies. The SX600FW provides a terrific scanning function by converting text and pictures into an electronic format for your computer. You can scan almost anything (photos, magazine articles, and text documents) on the Epson’s all-in-one. You can edit a scanned document using your Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software. The machine can scan at up to 2400 x 2400 dpi.
The fax functionality justifies the all-in-one terminology for the SX600FW. This versatile machine can transmit a Fax at the speed of 3 seconds per page and the fax store memory can hold up to 180 pages.
This inkjet printer is equipped with a memory slot which gives you the convenience of printing directly from your memory card without having the fuss of transferring the files on your computer first.
The Ink cartridges the SX600FW takes are T0711 (black), T0712 (Cyan), T0713 (Magenta), T0714 (Yellow) and you can also buy a multipack T0715 (all four cartridges in one box).
