The SX205 prints at up to 35 pages per minute (black & colour text) and can print a borderless 10x15 photo in approximately 24 seconds with a resolution up to 5760 x 1440 optimised dpi. Like all SX models, the SX205 also contains Epson’s DURABrite Ultra pigment ink system that ensures quality printing of photos and text that are water, smudge and fade resistant. The SX205 includes Epson’s Photo Print software which enables you to perform functions like cropping and red-eye reduction with a touch of a button. You can choose borderless or full-page prints as well as adding borders and effects, making the image sepia or optimising specific areas.
The Epson SX205 assures cheap printing, as the printer uses 4 separate inks (Cyan, magenta, yellow and black).These 4 individual ink tanks provide the flexibility and affordability of changing/replacing only the cartridge that has run out. The Epson SX205 also supports the compatible cartridges making this all-in-one even more affordable.
The SX205 can scan at the speed of 7.2 m/sec / line (colour) at 300 dpi resolution and can copy documents without turning on the computer at a speed up to 30 cpm.
