The Colour LaserJet CLP-300N continues the excellence of its predecessor model, the CLP-300. Measuring just 390mm(W) x 344mm(D) x 265mm(H), the Samsung CLP-300N is indeed very small for a colour laser printer. Unlike most colour laser printers Samsung has separated the drum from the toner resulting in a tiny and sleek in design home office laserjet printer.
The measure difference between CLP-300N and the preceding model is that this versatile machine is network ready and ship with a 300MHz processor, 64 MB of memory and offers a USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10/100 Base TX connection. The CLP-300N features a 150-sheet cassette tray, a 100-sheet output capacity and a 24,200-page monthly duty cycle.
The CLP -300N produces nice saturation in colours printouts and weighty, dark text prints. The CLP-300N can print up to 2,400 x 600dpi effective output with text and colour print speed up to 17 pages per minute. The CLP-300N is a super quite laser printer as it features exclusive NO-NOIS™ print engine which keeps the toner attached firmly resulting in quiet operation and simple toner changes.
The Samsung CLP-300N is a decent bet for home office use that is short on space and basic colour printing needs.
