InknToner UK is part of Ink N Toner UK Retail Ltd. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website.

We will never sell, exchange or otherwise distribute or make public your personal information.

Our store is powered by X-Cart Shopping Cart Software. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Our store is hosted on a dedicated hosting service provided by X-Cart.

Your data is stored through Hivelocity’s data storage, databases and the general X-Cart application. They store your data on a secure server encrypted behind a firewall.

InknToner UK only holds the very minimum information required to service you and your order. InknToner UK’s servers do not hold any information regarding your payment methods. For added security, any payment method information that you impart with whilst purchasing goods are encrypted and not viewable to anyone else at any stage.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you register with us or place an order for products such as your name, telephone number, address and email address to fulfil your order.

When you browse our store, we may also receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, special offers, discounts and other updates.

We also collect information when you voluntarily use our site to ask a question, sign up to our special offers, refer a friend to the site or open an education account.

Ask a question and product reviews

Should you choose to add a comment to our website when “asking a question” or “adding your own reviews”, the name and email address you enter with your comment will be saved to this website’s database, along with your computer’s IP address (only when you add a product review) and the date that you submitted the comment. Should you wish to leave your telephone number when “asking a question” relating to your product, we may contact you via phone to help you with your enquiry. The information that we collect is only used to identify you as a contributor to the comment of the respective post and is not passed on to any third party. Only your name will be shown on the customer-facing website and your personal data will always be protected. Your comment and it’s associated personal data will remain on this site until we see fit to remove it. Should you wish to have the comment and its associated personal data deleted, please email us here using the email address that you commented with.

Sign Up For Special Offers

If you choose to sign up to our special offers, you consent to receiving email marketing from us. The name and email address (and the company name if you choose to give it to us) will be forwarded to Brevo who provides us with email marketing services. The information you submit when you join our email newsletter will not be stored within our website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems. Your information will remain within Brevo’s database for as long as we continue to use their services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. Open an education account

If you choose to open an education account you consent to us processing the information you submit for this purpose only. The name and email address (and school/college name, contact telephone, postcode if you choose to give it to us) that you submit will only be used to verify that you are a registered School, College, University or education body. None of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to any third party. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us securely. We will process your information as requested and get consent from yourself before we do anything with this information.

Contact forms and email links

Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on our Contact us page or an email link (sending an email directly to our email server: @inkntoneruk.co.uk), none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to any third party. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers meaning that the email content is encrypted before being sent across the internet. Our local computers and devices then decrypt the email content. This ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to us collecting it and using it for that specific reason only by manually accepting our terms and conditions on the checkout page.

InknToner UK will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside of InknToner UK Retail Ltd.

The information that Brevo’s database holds are your name, email address and the date and time that you have given consent to receiving marketing emails from us. Your information will remain within Brevo’s database for as long as we continue to use their services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please email us here.

When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list.
