It’s the summer holidays, the schools are closed and they will not re-open until September! No matter how hard you try to keep your kids from getting bored and pestering you every few minutes, why not keep them busy on the PC for half hour.

Every Microsoft PC comes with an application called Paint. If you can’t find it click on Start and type in ‘Paint’ in the search bar.

Once you have opened Paint, get your kids to use the software to draw in their favourite animal or place. They can use the tools above the application to pick colours and shapes to add to their canvas.

Once your kids are happy with the image that they have drawn and coloured in. Click on file > print or you can use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + P) to print out the lovely drawing that your kids have made using the computer.

This way you have got half hour to relax for a bit until your kids gets bored again.
