Epson are continuing their “attack” on the wide format printer market by releasing the Epson SureColor S30600 and Epson SureColor S50600 machines. The highlight of the device is the new technology micro Piezo printhead, which together with new UltraCrome Epson ink cartridges will ensure the most perfect printing results for indoor/outdoor signage and literally any wide format printing need.

The new machine is far from your average printer and it shows, when you consider that the dimensions of the Epson printer are width 2,620 x depth 1,259 x high 1,311. It weighs a massive 219 kg but size is not the only big figure concerning the Epson monster printer. The starting cost price of one of these machines is whopping £14,000.
These printers have also been released in Asia and the managing director Endo Koichi of Epson said:
